Climate Resilient Infrastructure Handbook
Enhancing Climate Resilience in Infrastructure
The Climate Resilient Infrastructure (CRI) Handbook is a practical guide to help engineers and planners integrate climate resilience into infrastructure projects across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). It provides methodologies for assessing climate risks and identifying adaptation measures for roads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring they can withstand extreme weather, floods, and temperature variations. By embedding resilience into project design, the handbook supports long-term sustainability and reduces maintenance costs.
SEED played a key role in developing the CRI Handbook, working with infrastructure experts and government officials to ensure it aligns with international best practices and local needs. The handbook includes practical tools, templates, and case studies, making it an essential reference for climate-smart infrastructure planning and execution in KP.
