The Project Implementation Policy (PIP), approved by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Cabinet in 2022, provides a structured framework for managing development projects across the province. It establishes clear roles, responsibilities, timelines, and quality assurance mechanisms, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability in project planning, execution and closure. By standardising processes and improving coordination between government departments, contractors, and consultants, the policy helps reduce delays, cost overruns, and inefficiencies, leading to higher-quality infrastructure development.

SEED played a vital role in developing the PIP, collaborating with government departments, planners, and policymakers to ensure its practicality and adaptability. The PIP has significantly improved project management, reinforcing KP’s commitment to sustainable and effective development.
