The Public Investment Management (PIM) Portal is an online platform designed to improve the planning, appraisal, and execution of public infrastructure projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Hosted on the Communication & Works (C&W) Department’s official website, the portal provides engineers, planners, and decision-makers with standardised guidelines and automated tools to enhance project outcomes, minimise cost overruns, and ensure climate-resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

The portal features seven key tools, including technical appraisal checklists, a project implementation policy, and guidelines for climate-resilient infrastructure, among others. These resources support the government in making more informed investment decisions, increasing transparency, and improving service delivery. SEED has supported the development and implementation of these tools and facilitated training for engineers and other stakeholders to ensure their effective use in development projects.
