Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is making infrastructure development more efficient with Standardised Modular Designs—pre-engineered templates for small roads and bridges. These designs ensure projects are cost-effective, high-quality, and easier to implement. With ready-made templates, government departments can save time and resources, speed up project approvals, and deliver essential infrastructure more efficiently.

SEED supported the Government of KP in developing these standardised designs, working with technical experts and engineers to ensure they meet local needs. Government officials and field engineers reviewed the templates to guarantee their practicality and ease of use. SEED also developed a modular design web app that helps engineers quickly generate scenario-based design options, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and cost estimates—simplifying planning and making project design faster and more effective.
